Despite being thoroughly entertaining, this video clearly demonstrates that you can alter behavior when you engage with your audience in a thoughtful and unconventional way. This is definitely a form of "guerrilla marketing."
Typically guerrilla marketing relies on imagination, high energy and a deep understanding of the audience. Campaigns are unexpected and potentially interactive, targeting consumers (traditionally) in unexpected places and in unexpected ways. The objective of guerrilla marketing is to create a unique, engaging and thought provoking experience, often done-so in public places where it's much easier to get the attention of the masses.
This popular tactic is now an established form of marketing communication. But true to its name, guerilla marketing is growing into a next generation by heading towards digital mobile technology, opening up the one to one interaction channel.
