Jan 13th | New Client, Campaign Spurs Business for GA Creative in 2009 |
GA Creative kicks off 2009 with a new client, Smart Cremation, and a new engagement with existing client Institute for Systems Biology. Smart Cremation, a unique new company offering simple, affordable, earth-friendly cremation services with plans to grow along the West coast and into new markets, has charged GA with developing the company's brand, messaging and communication materials to drive leads and close sales. Following two successful annual reports for the Institute for Systems Biology (ISB), a non-profit research institute dedicated to solving medical mysteries through the study of human biology, GA is developing the fundraising campaign theme and materials for a collaborative effort between ISB and the Swedish Neuroscience Institute.
"We're delighted to be an important part of marketing these highly unique and empowering entities," says Marlice Gulacsik, GA principal.

About the Institute for Systems Biology
The Institute for Systems Biology (ISB) is an internationally renowned, non-profit research institute headquartered in Seattle and dedicated to the study and application of systems biology. Founded by Leroy Hood, Alan Aderem and Ruedi Aebersold, ISB seeks to unravel the mysteries of human biology and identify strategies for predicting and preventing diseases such as cancer, diabetes and AIDS. ISB´s systems approach integrates biology, computation and technological development, enabling scientists to analyze all elements in a biological system rather than one gene or protein at a time. Founded in 2000, the Institute has grown to 14 faculty and more than 230 staff members; an annual budget of more than $30 million; and an extensive network of academic and industrial partners.
