GA Creative Recognized by Communicator Awards

GA Creative announces three new awards from the Communicator Awards for its work for community organizations. A 2009 event invitation for ArtsFund, a branding campaign for Bellevue Schools Foundation, and a billboard advertisement for Communities In Schools of Washington each won an Award of Distinction in the worldwide program.

"Entering this work was a unique opportunity for us to let shine our commitment to the social and community organizations we support all year," says Marlice Gulacsik, GA principal. "It's rewarding to stretch ourselves creatively for these groups while helping them improve their message and achieve goals."

"The quality, creativity and execution of this year's work is a true testament to the talents and abilities of communications professionals from around the world. The entries received reflect an increasingly diversified industry and the work once again sets the bar extremely high," noted Linda Day, director of the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), which oversees the Communicator Awards and similar recognition programs. She added, "On behalf of the entire Academy, we are honored to have once again judged the 15th Annual Communicator Awards and we are proud to honor the outstanding communications professionals who continue to push a high standard of excellence."

About Bellevue Schools Foundation

Founded in 1979, the mission of the Bellevue Schools Foundation (BSF) is to promote and help fund the best possible learning opportunities for all students in the Bellevue School District. Funds raised help improve student learning through district wide academic initiatives, curriculum material and book purchases, training opportunities for teachers, and an array of programs that meet students' special needs. It also helps bridge the gap between basic funding provided by the State of Washington and what the District's students need to truly excel. For more information, visit www.bsfdn.org.
